Film A (Print Film) : Features a paper backing or protective liner covering a glue and ink-receiving layer. You print your design directly onto this film using a UV printer.
Film B (Transfer/Positioning Film): Acts as the carrier mask. After printing, you laminate Film B over the ink layer on Film A.
Transfer Process: Peel away Film A's paper backing, place the design onto a hard object using the B film, rub it down firmly, and peel away Film B to leave the crystal sticker behind.
Paper Backing vs. Plastic / PET Backing
Paper-backed A-Film: Often easier to feed in specific flatbed or roll printers and provides a rigid base, but it can be more sensitive to high humidity and moisture.
PET/Plastic-backed A-Film: Offers high clarity or tear resistance, though it behaves differently with static and roller feeding systems.
